DELICIOUS CUPCAKES!!! Cupcake Cove Oakland is my fave. I used to stop in the store for cupcakes when I worked in the area. Truth be told, even after I worked nowhere near, I'd make a special trip to get their tasty treats. I tried several different flavors in the beginning of this love affair, but landed on SALTED CARAMEL!!! Hands down, my fave. I don't get any other flavor now. John, the Manager, is a super nice and super kind man. It is a pleasure doing business with him. I recently had a dozen cupcakes delivered to my home! Yay me. :) I highly recommend supporting this business in-person and/or via delivery. It's totally worth it. YUMMM-O!
The owner is so nice & his skills are amazing! It's so hard to properly describe the goodness that these cupcakes (& macarons if you visit at the right time) are. I had the chocolate with strawberry frosting & it was like eating fluffy, airy, silk bursting with amazing chocolate & strawberry flavor. So worth the price! Can't wait to try to visit when macarons are there before they sell out cause those have always been equally incredible!
This cupcake shop deserves every star. I don't think I've ever eaten a cupcake so fresh that I didn't bake, and these were much better than I could make! I had a carrot cake cupcake and it was divine, the service was lovely, I highly recommend it!
Some of the best cupcakes I’ve had! I’m usually not a big fan of any frosting at all. But their frosting is the smoothest, neither greasy nor waxy, just the right amount of sweetness. Size is perfect for “in-moderation” portions :) definitely coming back very soon!! Check out their website for daily flavor availability.

Delicious- soft cake crumb, traditional flavors. I actually like these over Angel Cakes as cupcake cove is much more moist; also great price. Cheaper than Cupcakin. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for an evening treat and was pleasantly surprised by this spot. Grabbed a carrot cake cupcake that was absolutely delicious and certainly satisfied my sweet tooth. It was the perfect balance without being sickly sweet. The owner was also so kind and nice. Many businesses just feel cold and transactional these days but his presence was quite warm and friendly. Will definitely return and will likely make this my go to for birthdays and special events.
Cupcake Cove was wonderful to work with for my 3-year-old’s birthday party. We ordered three dozen cupcakes, and everything turned out perfectly. The cupcakes were fresh, delicious, and exactly what we ordered. Pickup was smooth and on time, which made the day so much easier. Communication was clear and proactive throughout, and the whole process felt easy and stress-free. The kids loved them, the adults loved them, and we really appreciated how seamless everything was.
